The municipality’s long coastal route connects several of Piraeus’s strongest sights. From Dock38, it makes sense to join around Marina Zeas and choose a direction rather than rigidly following every kilometre.

Why go

One walk can include marinas, museums, beaches, viewpoints and food stops. The route is modular, so you can stop after an hour or continue all the way to Mikrolimano.

Plan it from Dock38

Begin early in warm months or leave in the late afternoon. Comfortable shoes matter, and the Kastella section includes climbs. Use a taxi back when the route has already given you a full day.

Local note

Choose two anchor stops before leaving and let the rest remain optional. Trying to cover every museum, beach and neighbourhood in one pass makes the walk less enjoyable.

Pair it with

Marina Zeas plus the Maritime Museum is a compact version; Kastella and Mikrolimano create the strongest sunset version.
