This is the easiest sea-first outing from Dock38: begin around Marina Zeas, follow the harbour edge, then continue towards Freatida when you want a swim or a longer coastal walk.
Why go
Marina Zeas gives you working-marina energy, cafés and broad water views without leaving the city. Freatida adds a small municipal beach and a more local rhythm. Together they make a flexible route that works for an hour or an unhurried afternoon.
Plan it from Dock38
Leave Dock38 on foot and aim first for Pasalimani and Marina Zeas. The closest edge of the marina is roughly an eight-to-twelve-minute walk; Freatida is farther along the coast. Allow extra time in summer and open live directions for the exact beach entrance.
Local note
Go late in the afternoon when the light softens. Beach facilities and lifeguard coverage are seasonal, so check the municipal notice before planning a swim.
Pair it with
Add the Hellenic Maritime Museum, the Archaeological Museum or the Peiraiki coast. For dinner, stay around the marina rather than rushing back inland.
